ABOUT DAESHA

A small team building the tools it wanted.

Daesha Limited is part of Tobias Schmidt Services LLC. Daesha started as the hosting behind a dozen of our own projects on daesha.dev; Studio and Nautilus grew out of wanting one place to build, host and keep them.

SECURITY

Safe defaults built into the platform.

Daesha is an alpha and hasn't been through a formal audit. Here is what the platform does today.

Rule zones

Cloud data uses a fixed set of tested access rules. Nautilus picks a zone; it never writes database rules.

Separate preview origins

Each project's preview runs on its own address, so project code can't read your Studio session or other projects.

Secrets stay server-side

API keys are encrypted and only used by server connectors. Keys pasted into chat are caught and saved as secrets before Nautilus sees them.

Approvals

Production publishing, deletes, Cloud access changes and spending caps always ask you first.

COMING LATER

What's planned next.

  1. Daesha Wizard A command line tool for macOS and Windows that uses the same projects.
  2. Nautilus for iPhone Check on projects and talk to Nautilus away from your desk.
  3. Server functions Backend code that runs next to your Cloud data.
  4. Custom domains Publish to an address you own.

ALSO FROM DAESHA

Other things on daesha.dev.

  • Drop: upload a folder and get a live site at drop.daesha.dev.
  • Hosting: the same servers that host Studio projects.
  • Build Club: a student coding club that uses Daesha for its projects.

TRY IT

See whether Studio fits the way you work.

If you have an invite code, open Studio and build something small.
